C4 Domus model and final thoughts

The Domus project was a great exercise to demonstrate the importance of good team work while combining the lessons from the previous Tablinum and Minima projects of creating an efficient living space. Right from the beginning of the project our team all envisaged the same or very similar deign resulting with an energetic approach towards all phases of Domus. The positive input by all team members made this project one of the better studio projects I have taken part in.

The photographs of our Domus model below portray the views of each of the four elevations. I have made an emphasis of form and light in the photographs as this was one of the key design focuses for our team, this was achieved through the contrast between the white model and dark background.

Eastern facade

Northern facade

Emphasis on interior light

Western facade

Southern (entry) facade

great job team C4!
the photos you have taken look fantastic, especially the shot taken with an emphasis on interior lighting the building expresses itself from within.
By creating an apt frame for the model, removing colour and adapting appropriate lighting the result is some effective photos. By removing the colour i think this simplified the building and the forms become paramount.

The model looks great guys, good stuff..
Completely agree with Celeste, the removal of colour simplified the design and the forms of the building can be easily viewed..
