Ben, Jess and i all worked extremely well together and came up with a design that we thought answered the brief and in many ways extended it... It was a challenging assignment and one we are all proud of....
The final critique did not at all go the way we imagined... Our site was continually and heavily critisised, criticism that to us was not constructive at all... I guess it was disappointing that the tutors and panel of judges expected and told us different things, as we were never told to change our site during tutorials, quite the opposite, we were challenged to extend the site we chose as a challenge....
Another extremely disappointing aspect of the critique was that the panel did not look or refer to our poster presentation or model.. It would have been a lot more constructive for us had they taken into consideration our design and sustainability.
However all that aside, we (our group) learn't a great deal off each other through out the Domus Assignment, and no matter how the critique and our mark went, we were happy with the design we came up with and presented...
