C3 MODEL CONSTRUCTION (PAYNE, STENT, WILLIAMSON)

POSTING FOR THE GROUP C3:

CONSTRUCTION OF ROCKY CLIFF/WATERFALL

The site model needed to be constructed before we could finalize the overall design, simply for the levels and heights. The only way we decided we could construct such a site model was through the use of plaster of paris. So to obtain the fall in the site we placed a polystyrene box upside down on foam board and covered it in ripped pieces of polystyrene all the while chipping away at the polystyrene to give a rocky effect. This was then covered in plaster of paris, and once dried spray painted for a stark white backdrop for our darker model.
