Minima

When i tackled the minima brief, i wanted my design, to reflect me and my background and thus i drew my inspiration from an african hut. The hut is a classic example of utilising minimal space to its maximum capacity. A standard hut is used toc cooking, lounging, sleeping and working, therfore is served as an ideal source of inspiration for this particular brief. after further research i discoved that as small and well utilised u hut it, it does not enclose the minimum space one could live in comfortably. thus my design reflects only the sector of hut that contains minimum space.

as much as i wanted my design to emulate my background, i also wanted to add a personal touch to it, to reflect my personality, neat and organised but also adventurous. thus i arrived at my final design shown in the final posters below:
