tablinum

this was my design for the tablinum project. i tackled the brief with the intention to use as little space and material as possible. i discovered that employing the use of a corner could enable me to do this. another factor i wanted to tacke was privacy within the space without making it an enclosed space. after palying around with some ideas i discovered that the location of my proposed design could help me achieve this and thus i chose to place the tablinum beneath the stairs on the lower level as my study of human traffic within the campus revaeled that that end of the capus is not as frequented as some of the main and central areas. overall i was satisfied with my design. what are your thoughts and suggestions for future projects?

I like the way that you have created a private space that isn't enclosed is well done, as this doesn't make the space seem as small as it really is. My only concern is that the space might be too open, as there is no where really to shut yourself out from the world if you wanted to. But as you said, the site that you have chosen isn't frequented as much as other sites, so this may not be an issue.
