I began the Minima project by researching other minimal focus design projects like the ones above: 01. Ville Hara's Lookout Tower, Helsinki; 02. Adam Kalkin's shipping container house, USA; 03. Richard Wang/Stephan Wang's DRL Ten Pavilion Design Competition; 04. AllesWirdGut's Turn On, Vienna; 05. Alan Dempsey/Alvin Huang's DRL Ten Pavilion Design Competition cspacepavilion; 07. Carine Cohen's DRL Ten pavilion Design Competition; 08. Danilo Arsic's DRL Ten Pavilion Design Competition.Initial Design Ideas
My initial designs were focussed around the idea to create a space that can be transported as a whole such as three cubes inter-locking with their own distinct space i.e. living, washing and food preparation. This developed to the idea of using the big ocean buoys beached on the Geelong foreshore, but I could never develop the idea into a strong design concept.Height Study
The height study I conducted to investigate the various heights for functions like sitting washing and eating and stretching allowed me to develop a diagram as base my new design from, as seen with the sectional diagram with the person stretching to the top of the arch. Form Concepts
Once developing the diagram to best portray the basis for my design I set out to experiment with a free flowing organic form that will both be functional and ingenious but be a whole entity. The cylindrical like centre housing all of the services for the minima form allowed such an objective.Minimising Bathroom and Kitchen services and fixtures
The cylindrical form to house the services above made me develop a way to comfortably use the minima without the appliances and fixtures overcrowding the space it concealed. I achieved this with the use of the drawer function for the toilet, basin and cooktop; and hiding the table flush with the floor so that the only present interior functional form was the bed.

Mock-up model of form structure

Great model, it clearly demonstrates your design in a way that couldn't be achieved through drawings alone. I like the way you have curved the interior space to suit arm movements, etc.
