PLAN
This final of this plan, seen above was drawn
freehand from a ruled draft. Once all freehand
lines were drawn it was rendered using Copic
markers and technical pens. The look these two
medias give when put together in this way
gives a really raw and organic representation of
the work, giving a 2D piece another dimension
in shading and colour.
SECTION
This section really shows the integral part
of my design, being that it actually weaves
through the branches of a deciduous tree.
This section also shows the cladding, something
which the sectional model did not allow for.

MODEL
The model showed, similar to the section shows the tree as an integral part of the design. Also, as a physical model it allows a full representation of the actual form of the model and the way it is integrated into the tree and works as one combined structure. The model was created using balsa wood and black foam board. The tree was assisted in becoming a more structural member to the model by stabilizing branches with string and strong glues such as liquid nails.

SITE / CLADDING SKETCH
Due to my model not showing the complete look of my design, as the cladding was omitted, I felt the need to represent the design as a whole through a drawing. So with the collaboration of the two above pictures, a site photo with the waterfront and tree as well as a model photo from the same angle, I was able to create the full scene in which my design is actually to sit, as seen to the left.

Very original. I like the idea of a tree house and they way you put it all together was very good. Maybe the colours you used could be changed to match the environment, more green and brown maybe, it could blend with the tree but on the other hand you might have wanted the treehouse to stand out?
